The
Jefferson Middle School Beta Club is an organization that
does community projects and helps in many ways at our school.
We are made up of students that maintain a creditable and
scholastic record. Members must also be of high moral standards
and have outstanding self-discipline. Our Beta Club inspires
students to work harder in academics and show qualities
of leadership and responsibility by helping people.
The Beta Club participates in several community
Service Projects each year. These include “Bus Drivers
Appreciation Day,” “Food Pantry Canned Food
Drive,” JMS “Angel Tree,” “Janitor’s
Appreciation Day,” and “Teacher Appreciation
Day.” Beta members in good standing also attend the
Mississippi State Junior Beta Club Convention each year.
Our Junior Beta Club Pledge is:
“I hereby declare that I shall always strive to be
honest and truthful at all times; to maintain a creditable
scholastic record; to be of service to my teachers and fellowmen;
to conduct myself in a manner to reflect credit upon my
school and community.”
